I’ll reiterate that since the change to the lottery system, red membership is surprisingly fruitful, and I almost guarantee you can plan a trip around a midweek match and grab tix on the exchange if you’re unsuccessful in the lottery. Even when it’s a Champions League knockout round match. (But don’t forget to apply for the tix in the lottery when they come up, because you won’t have access to the exchange if you didn’t apply for the lottery for that match. Also you need to have a membership for every person you are trying to get a ticket for.)

Mar 22-30 is an interlull so ideally it would be right after that but it all depends on the schedule. If they play away and then home against sp*rs, I'll probably have to look at March. I want to walk around and do all the typical tourist stuff in London too so the warmer the better.
Good to know (from both you & @Tonerl that Red M'ship is much more useful. How much does Red cost for this coming season? I stopped bothering with ArseAm years and years ago. Do they still even (try to) do anything for Yanks wanting to score tickets?

I enjoyed this little glimpse into the life of Starboy. (Spoilers ahead, is that a thing??) I think a better title may have been Tierry and Starboy, a love story. I'm kidding. But seriously, I think TH14 may have spoken more words in this documentary about Bukayo than Bukayo himself. For that reason, I don't see how this documentary will resonate with anyone outside of pure Arsenal fans. Which is ok, that's likely not why they made it. It doesn't matter because I enjoyed it. Tops for me . . . 1) visiting his childhood home, and seeing the 'garden' he played in vs. his brother and dad for hours. We'd call that the backyard in America. 2) visiting the Emirates for a match the first time and academy product Chuba Akpom tossing his jersey to him (and a few other academy players to fight over). Nobody would ever forget a memory that, IMO. 3) I didn't know he was engaged, good for him. She seems lovely. The next chapter.
Yes, that's what I was alluding to above, probably too subtly. And good title... "love story"... it felt that way! And I guess we shouldn't be too surprised if we read between the lines of Thierry's comments on CBS's UCL show, and how "intimate" he's been this season w/ Bukayo. From a marketing perspective they might've done better to highlight TH14's involvement a little more? I had a similar reaction on this too. Although I added England fans to the possible interested parties. Plus its launch just before WC seemed to support that theory? Yes, an English home's garden, especially for a footballer, has always been the equivalent of an American home's back yard.
Got red membership for me and the oldest. How far in advance is the lottery, and how hard are tickets to get on the exchange for weekend matches?
I want to say for league matches and league phase of champions league each lottery happens maybe 6-8 weeks before the match. For cup and CL knockouts they are much closer to the match because those always go up after the draw for a given round. I wouldn’t plan a trip around getting tix on the exchange for a weekend match, but it’s not impossible.

I feel like he said he's going to be in Chicago covering the World Cup for the next several weeks. Anybody know why? There are no teams based there, and Chicago is not hosting any matches. Seems strange to me, but maybe he misspoke or I misunderstood him being there the whole time?
That's the impression I got. Maybe he is using Chicago as a central base? Not sure I would want to do that if it involves multiple flights of in and out of O'Hare.
Chicago is fairly central as far as flight durations, and there are direct flights in and out of ORD to and from every host city. It also sounded like he's got an apartment there too, at least for the duration of the World Cup. So maybe it's just that simple. I also don't pretend to know who's paying him to be there, and what he is being paid to cover specifically during the World Cup.
I’d guess Chicago is a cheaper place to stay for next 6 weeks since it’s not a host city. That plus it being a central hub.
