Saw that too but supposedly the source isn't the most reliable.

Football London has referred to this source as "scout Con Harrison".

I'm curious, is scout used like a term of endearment in the UK? Is this the equivalent of calling someone "buddy" or "pal"?
Because if a Con Harrison worked for Arsenal, I'm sure this Football London rag wouldn't hesitate to say "Arsenal Scout Con Harrison" when sighting this guy as a source of information.

    Sincerely,

    scout ArsenalJake.

Well if there is one thing we know Arsenal's training staff has experience with, it's dealing with calf injuries.

KT - agree. would have moved this summer if he was healthy
Tomi - agree. needs to move back to a less physical league
Kiwior - either needs to play more of be moved. Think I would prefer we move him and either bring in (or promote) a left-footed Timber-esque FB and use Cala as the LB/CB
Partey - contract expires next summer. I could see us wanting to extend on a cheaper deal as a backup but I don't see him agreeing
Nelson - agree. doing ok on loan (1g 1a in 81 min) hopefully he does well enough to land us a little cash.
Jesus - agree. like the guy but he doesn't fit at ST (his preferred spot) and isn't good enough to demand time on the W. feel like he would do really well in Spain, especially in a 4-4-2 setup.

    I'll add......

OZ - damn near as bad as Tomi & Partey with their injuries and a very poor defensive FB
Vieira - under 60min in 3 matches playing in Portugal. hopefully he picks it up so we can convince a stupid team to take him.
Nuno - he is having a great season in Italy. I expect we finally get a good fee for him.
Sambi - gotten a couple starts and a sub app. total 171 min. hopefully he can raise his value enough to get us something.

Nuno already has an agreed upon fee with Lazio, I believe, so how he plays won't really matter.

I had hoped Tomi could shift to cover at CB and stay health by not running as much as fullback, but considering he can't make it through training, he needs to move on.

Kiwior at least stays healthy (knock on wood). Sucks for his development, but I think you have to keep him until there are reinforcements in place.

I actually think Kiwior is a decent player, and a solid, reliable backup CB for Arsenal. It's not his fault that Saliba and Big Gabi are the two best centerbacks in the league.

Jakub could start for a dozen teams in the Premier League.

He's barely played at his preferred left CB position, most of his minutes have been at LB and he's be forced into right CB more often than left CB - like when Saliba was hurt two seasons ago or in the league cup recently with Calafiori at LCB.

God I love that goal so.

I’m a bit more surprised that Jack would get such a job at this stage, but I’m rooting for him.
