...and he's gotten arrested again. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2008/7/17/573433/report-rampage-jackson-in Hopefully he can get whatever problems he has worked out.
^ that is quite possibly the dumbest post I have ever read on Bigsoccer... And that is sayng something.
The Rampage story is crazy. But I know other people are thinking this...he didn't fight like normal in his last fight. He took some serious leg hits, but his game wasn't on point at all, even before them.
Don't know if anyone has seen the latest, but he's been in mental health custody for a while, and the lady he hit in the car has miscarried her child. Things could be getting worse for Rampage...
I actually met the guy a couple of times. He trained with eric paulson. I hope he gets it together, really nice guy very freindly. I hope it all works out and I do feel bad for the Lady who lost her baby. I hope it all doesn't go south for Rampage though.
Interesting side note is that Jesse Taylor signed a deal with UFC and now has recently spoken out about how Rampage would be treated by UFC compared to the way he was when he was never arrested and charges never made against him. UFC has now dropped Taylor.
He's obviously not the sharpest knife in drawer. But it will be pretty interesting to see what UFC does once QJ is mentally/emotionally recovered and healthy.
I think he will get another shot, He is still one of the top lightweights in the world. Plus this is MMA, you don't need to have a clean history to be popular. Being a "bad boy" is concidered part and parcel to being a fighter. The only guy who made a name of being the clean cut all american guy was mma's own Captian America, Randy Couture.
'page has come public for the first time since his crazy incident. I guess he was still trippin' since losing to Forest, but he wasn't eating & only drinkin' energy drinks. Then the sun, the pool, & probably the babes got to him. I guess Dana was there immediately, but the police reports stated that 'page was on his cell phone w/ the whole thing went down. Also, Juanito has bounce, so 'page is w/out a manager. This will take a while to sort out. I guess this opens the door for the winner of the Liddell/Evans fight for to throw w/ Forest. I wonder where this leaves Thiago Silva & Lyoto Machida They will bang in UFC 89. I can't wait for that bout
Looks like a disagreement w/ Juanito Ibarra started this whole episode. Listening to interviews w/ Rampage & him changing camps to Wolfslair. Also, Tito opened his mouth & shouted out against Ibarra. Looks like more is coming out of the wash now.
