No, he's not really even been around the first team. Don't even recall him making the bench to be honest. Still Grayson says he "looks a player" in training and might have a future, given some time to get acclimated to England.

Ramon's contract has been extended till the end of the season today, confirming Simon Grayson's belief that Nunez is a player who add values to the squad.
Of interest is that Amdy Faye, who was signed around the same time as Ramon, was told his contract would not be renewed.

  3. I think Ramon Nunez is a good asset to Leeds United, given the opportunity he will become a first teamer.

From Simon Grayson's press conference today:

  5. Is good to know that he's still in the coach's plans.

Leeds fans have been following Honduras matches lately to catch a glimpse of Ramon and so far everyone has been impressed with what they've seen. Two goals in two games won't hurt his chances of getting noticed.

Glad to hear that. In my very biased opinion, he has been the player of the Central American Tournament. He has been Honduras most important player, and there is a clear difference between him and the rest. His shooting though, needs plenty practice.

Keep in mind about Honduras that this is a B side that is playing except for a player here or there.

"except for here and there".. No the entire squad other than Ramoncito, Osman and Noel.

Here and there = Noel, Ramoncito and Osman. Boniek should also be included somewhere there and Welcome is a maybe.

Ill even go as far to say Mauricio Sabillon will be out starting RB for the next WC Campaign..

Boniek doesn't even play as rightback anymore.

I am afraid that will be the case, but if we want our 'best' players out there, Boniek will be playing right back and Edgar the Righ Midfielder spot. Sabillon on the bench.

Boniek was the best at that position like a year ago..but ever since he switched positions, I don't feel he play the same way he use to... especially defensively...

but either way, I'll be fine with either one.

What I'm looking forward too is that Leftwingback spot.. Emilio, Maynor and the emerging Juan Carlos Garcia whose been ACE!! all tourney.

So word is that Ramon had a little bust-up with the Honduran manager last night for having him fly all the way in from England and then not putting him in the starting lineup. True?

  21. The coach denied any problems with Nunez.

Hopefully he will come off the bench this weekend - Simon Grayson said the lads who just traveled for international friendlys (Ramon and Davide Somma for South Africa) would probably be rested last weekend - so now that he's rested, hopefully Ramon can get in a game once again.

Ramon scored 4 goals for the reserves today  which is good news, bad news Leeds just took Barry Bannan on loan from Aston Villa. Not sure if/when Ramon will get a chance soon :(
