Maresca did not travel with the team and is closer to Fiorentina,
Baiocco did not travel with the team and was told he is no longer in the future of the club. He may be moving to Messina as said in the coming days.
All National Team players will play only 1 half.

Congrats Juve fans your team won! Juventus won 1-0 and it was a pretty good game. Each team had many chances but couden't convert. Also a congrats to my former coach Fabio Capello wich recieved his first win with his new team.

Game was decent. Nothing more to expect from a preseason friendly. PSG were ahead in their preperation due to the fact they are playing the french supercup in a week. Juventus created many many chances, but finalized very little. PSG created a decent amount in midfield but never was any threat except on a couple occasions at most. Notables: Miccoli played a great game except for the fact that he should of had 3 goals. Blasi and Tacchinardi put up a steel fence in midfield, always on the ball and contrasting PSG Players. I saw the defense in decent form tonight. Zebina looked good except for 1 play. Zambrotta was running like a madman as usual. Pessotto, birrindelli and Legrotaglie played their game, not amazing, not bad.

Notable plays in the game: Juventus down the flank to camoranesi and he plays it forward for del piero to run onto it. Del Piero backheels accross the goal on the first touch to Miccoli. If i were miccoli i would of blasted it hard, but the keeper did come out well and miccoli lost the ball trying to go around him. Amazing play other than that.

It was also Capello's 5th win as the Juventus coach :)

I beleive it was Zalayeta who scored on a nice little pass from Oliver Kapo.
I watched bits and pieces of the game and I did catch the goal inbetween my flipping channels.

How did Kapo look? I'm kind of interested with this guy.

He didn´t play due to an injury in his right knee told the RAI reporter on the pitch. Juventus scored when Zambrota took advantage of the constant presence of Mendy in attack and crossed a ball to Oliveira, who gave a nice pass to Zalayeta, almost on pk mark. He controlled the ball and has to handle with a defender before scored.
The game was so so like most of friendlies in this period of year. Micolli missed three unbeliaveable chances and now I understand why Capello desperatly needs Émerson in the midfield and Gillardino in attack. Things are not going well in Turin.

Actually, Kapo did not play. He apparently tweaked his knee a bit in the game vs Genoa the other day and was held out. I would've liked to see him as well. The goal came on a typical break forward down the left by Zambrotta, who crossed it to Ruben Olivera on the right side of the box. It was Olivera who slotted the nice pass back to Zalayeta, who deked around one guy before slotting it into the net.

I pretty much only watched the first half, but from what I saw, Miccoli is in awesome form. It's also nice to see Pessotto back at what appears to be 100% fitness.

Huh, we were posting at the same time, and had completely different impressions of the game, perhaps because I only saw the first half. I only saw one of Miccoli's misses, but the play he made to free himself on that one was truly amazing.

Game was decent as mentioned earlier, i think the comment about things not going well in turin is unfounded. Juve were the more dangerous side although PSG had more possession in midfield the 2nd half. Miccoli had a decent game but missed many chances, something i wouldnt worry about right now. Key thing is to get in shape for Aug 11.

In the first half I have the same impression as you SueB. But when Capello decided to change the tactical system in the second half, with Camoranesi, PSG had enough space to crete some chances. They didn´t, but if were a stronger side...
Of course Juve played without Trezeguet and Nedved and we have to consider it. But my impression is that Capello will need some help. And quickly, because now he doesn´t have the depth he needs in the squad.
These friendlies are almost a guessing game and you have to explore the situations you will find in a season (when you have to attack, when the opponent attack you etc.) and my feeling after the game was that Juve have to fill some important roles. But my opinion is based in just one game. I can be wrong. Only time will tell.
