PFDC Italy - Rahman Rezaei, the seasoned Iranian defender now at his fourth consecutive season in Italy, has been heavily praised by his current club's official website. In an article entirely dedicated to his sparkling Serie A performance, Rezaei is praised for being the only Messina player to have played every single minute of every league game so far, with 1135 minutes on the field. Despite being only one card away from an automatic one match suspension, the website takes Rezaei's sportsmanship as example and trusts that such a ban is not imminent. Rezaei is also quoted as being an "essential pawn" in coach Bortolo Mutti's defensive strategies. The only demand on the former Zob Ahan player is to score: he has constantly scored at least a couple of goals each season, and while 2 goals were netted during the last Serie B campaign, none have been scored so far into this Serie A season. Rezaei is described throughout the article as the "Wall" of the Messina defense and as the "Iron Man", an analogy not ill fitted to one of the most prominent members of the Iranian National Team.
