Hello all - First, a big thank you to ALL those who have donated what they can to the T.I.F.O. fund. Now, to keep that magic going, we're going to try and pull together a small raffle to try and raise some money for the 2010 T.I.F.O. displays (and to help our T.I.F.O. grand master crawl out of the T.I.F.O. debt since you people don't buy enough hoodies ). Raffle will be held at the last tailgate of the season: 10/17 - you must be present to win. So, first things first - anyone with items to donate hit me up with a message or at one of the upcoming games. I am not asking for your most treasured possessions, but anything you have laying around taking up space or anything you can get local businesses to donate, would be much appreciated. Second, I will begin selling tickets at this Sunday's game. I am thinking $2/ticket. Anyone who wants to help with that - much appreciated. So donate an item, buy a shit load of tickets for fabulous mystery prizes and help keep La Barra Brava THE premiere supporters club in the country. Thank you all for your time and, more importantly, your MONEY.
Do you want me to change the thread title or are you purposely trying to make the gypsy's head explode?
let it be so.... One tray of home made banana pudding is the first prize on the list. and for those of you who haven't been lucky enough to share in the glory that is my home made banana pudding, let me just say, it's glorious.
i will get a gift certificate from my restaurant... probably free dinner for two or something like that
Thanks to all who have volunteered so far. Michelle has also donated an action shot of the Barra in... well in action. Pretty bitchin'.
Srdan: How many kittens died? And do you have any hoodies (size large) left as one was purloined from my vehicle during the seattle match? Like this is a real chore for Pauly. You'll get this done tonight, right?
I have hoodies in every size, I just can't really bring big boxes of stuff cos I have nothing to bring it in, but I'll bring it if people say they want something (and then they don't get it which really gets on my nerves after 50th time lol)
Well sir, as a member of the Barra's T.I.F.O. design and implementation team, I can assure you that this is NOT correct. T.I.F.O. is an acronym for an Italian phrase describing displays in support of your team which make other supporter groups feel silly. However, it doesn't translate into English very well, so we abbreviate it T.I.F.O. Translation: I drive a bitchin' sports car, which makes me popular with the ladies and helps me score - it goes great with my super sexy hair do. However, it's only big enough to allow room for me, my lady friend, my poles (for the T.I.F.O. you perverts), my wicked cool dungeons and dragons accessories and a few scarves. If however, you'd like a hoodie, I can tie one to the roof and bring it to the game Sunday.
I only disagree with the premise that I would put poles in my car. (ok I've done it but i wasn't happy about it )
This $hit just got REAL. Oscar kindly agreed to donate 1 set of season tickets for next year to the raffle. So now we have: 1 set season tickets BANANA PUDDING Framed Barra Picture Assorted Restraurant Gift Certificates SOMETHING by Mike Terry ... and the possibility of many other amazing mystery prizes. Did I miss anything? Tickets go on sale this Sunday.
