I am not liking the Tomasz Radzinksi signing at all. I just do not see it working out. I hope it does, but I am really doubting it. I think there are some much better players out there than him. Thoughts?
I agree, I feel its a bit of a shady signing and the money could be used else where but on who??? What top strikers are available still?? I haven't watched Rad play much so I'm not sure where his skills are at. Some of the media have rated him highly and expected him to do better this coming season. He made 38 appearences last season but was plagued with an injury which effected his play. Anywho, lets hope Cookie made the right decision here.
I do not know who else is out there for them to get. In listening to Bobby McMahon on the FSW Report, he was saying that Fulham is on a limited budget this offseason which is a shame. They had a great year this past season and should keep building. I do not think Radzinski is bad, but I am not sure if he is the right guy. He will be looked up to play and play well right away as Boa Morte was selected into the Portuguese Olympic squad. That being said, if Portugal makes the semis (they have a weak group), Boa Morte would not play his first Fulham game until Sept 11th. I think it sucks!
Its my own opinion and not one that many others share but i think Boa Morte is a piece of crap anyway, he's fast as hell and he delievers good balls to the other striker but i think he's injured more people in the stands than scored goals recently...
Ouch!! I will admit that Boa Morte is all "left" but he is far from rubbish. If he can get his temper under control and work on the shooting a bit he could be fantastic. This is one player that has a PASSION for FULHAM. When he scores, its for Fulham and not for his ego. Thats why he is in my top 3 of favorite Fulham players.
From Coleman in the article below: 'I'd love to have bought Tomasz a month ago but it never happens like that. Ideally we wanted him at the start of pre-season but that wasn't possible. The medical hasn't been the problem. 'We're a lot closer than we were, we just have to wait and see what happens.' http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=305456&cc=5901 Maybe he's working on getting rid of a forward before he brings Radz officially on or he bought Cole thinking he wasn't getting Radz and now he has too many options? Seems... Fulhamish?
I think Boa Morte is a solid player for Fulham. He attacks the defenses like no one else on Fulham and does provide good balls for others to score. Fulham would not have had the season they did last year without Boa Morte. While there are parts to his game that need improving, he is in my opinion a big part of Fulham Football Club.
