radiohead mtv concert?

    caught a blurb on cnn headline news the other day that said mtv was going to tape a nyc radiohead show for broadcast at a later date. is this the field day fest?

    No, it's a separate gig they are playing @ The Beacon in NYC.

    when is that show? i can't find any info about it.

    Unconfirmed rumors are that it will be Friday, June 6th - the day before Field Day. There was an eBay charity auction (for the TJ Martell Foundation) for the show that had a pair of front-row tickets going for over $2k, but then the auction was pulled before it ended.

    So the show is likely but not confirmed. The Beacon seats 2600; good luck getting tickets.
