I know that there are now radio and TV commercials for the March 29th exhibition game. Has anyone heard or seen these and on what stations? Thanks.
i heard an ad on KJ103, well its was more of an annoucement than an ad, they dj explained what it was, and how okc was trying to get an expansion team. sounded pretty good, only thing they forgot to mention was world cup players being there, i think that would take away doubts of quality.
I saw an ad on MTV. I guess COX cable is one of the big supporters. You can get free tickets from them somehow. I can't remember exactly what you have to do. A guy at work said he saw an ad on the WB.
What about the stadium ??? What about the stadium where this game is gona be held ?? is a nice stadium ??? Have real grass??
It will be held at Wantland Stadium on the University of Central Oklahoma's Campus, where UCO's football team along with three high schools in Edmond play games. The stadium is fairly nice, considering UCO's sporting program doesn't rely on football as their main draw like OSU or OU. The stadium looks like a standard 1960s stadium that has been kept up well... it just isn't up the to great standards of 2000's arenas/stadiums. The turf, however, is usually great. When my high school played there, the turf was always in exceptional condition, and at least 2 games were played a week. I'm sure Express Sports will make the conditions top notch.
