I live in PA where, as has been mentioned before, immigration is the biggest issue for MAGAts around. And we do have a lot of immigrants here. I never go a day without hearing someone speaking in Spanish. And it's pretty common to hear Spanish being sung from car stereos this time of year, what with windows being down and all.

I can't for the life of me see how that's a problem. If someone doesn't like music being sung in a foreign language, then they need to avoid walking by my house on Saturday afternoons in the summer, because there's going to be an opera on the radio. though on average three of them over the 52 weeks might be in English

 

FYP. I'm pretty sure Trump said something to the effect that immigration would be ok if the immigrants were coming from someplace like Norway. His mother was a Scottish immigrant. Another of the many things I blame the British for.

You can't be censured for trying to invite a pogrom against Haitian Americans. Not supporting the genocide in Gaza though? Hand them out like candy.

I'm kinda on the fence about this one. The other animals don't look White. They look like animals. Donald Duck isn't racially, politically "White"- he simply has White feathers. Any child should be able to identify with him. Besides, a duck with dreads can't fly!

I could make the legit argument that these folks are actually othering Black people thru making Donald White by default, but I won't...

Worrying about the the realities of a duck flying with dredlocks, when the duck does all the things a human does, is just plain silly. C’mon. This is an escape from reality. All we need is internal consistency. The only thing that keeps Roadrunner v Coyote consistent is that roadrunner gets away while everything backfires on coyote. All this is, is trying to make very old IP more relevant to today. I think introducing new and interesting characters is much better than a soulless Poochie-style character (Simpson’s joke) pandering to basic common denominators.
