They were Dutch. So THAT was why Obama was a decent president and why Kamala Harris never murdered anyone in cold blood (despite being "a cop"). (Oh, wait, the Dutch had slavery and only abolished slavery in 1863).
??? What's that got to do with my question for an explanation as I obviously miss something, either out of not being a native English speaker or not knowing some historical context.
So that is the new caravan heading to suburbia and led by the new Attila : Cory Booker! This is so insane that I can only laugh. Trump explains the coming "invasion" of suburbia and how "minorities" are involved. pic.twitter.com/lWa777Cmbf— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) August 13, 2020
I can't explain it all, but there is something about a first/second generation person being more respected to a wider audience. Unfortunately, that can also be because they are not completely associated with black in America. This is not entirely correct, but I remind people of these things every now and then. Famous Black/African-Americans of Caribbean descent:▪️ Malcolm X▪️Shirley Chisholm▪️Marcus Garvey▪️Stokely Carmichael/Kwame Ture▪️Constance Baker Motley▪️Sidney Poitier▪️Kamala HarrisWe're not doing this Black enough shit, PERIOD. Don't be a belligerently ignorant POS. pic.twitter.com/NQysvMMake— Reecie @BlackWomenViews (@ReecieColbert) August 12, 2020 The attacks on Senator Harris have been interesting. The first round after her acceptance of being part of the ticket were on her being Indian. It looked like there was a coordinated effort to amplify people (often not in the US) having an issue with her calling herself Black and Indian or not saying African-American (while not knowing her father was Jamaican). Of course Newsweek really allowed the birther stuff to take off since her parents were immigrants. I expect more of this. A lot of places are giving extra voice to young, dumb progressive black people who basically deny her blackness even if she went to an HBCU and is an AKA because she's a cop.
There are always those who attempt to divide and conquer and those who allow themselves to be divided and conquered.
1. Does that mean you get a shot at Sydney Leroux? 2. So, with the massive deficit spending going on right now, I guess we can expect hyperinflation!
1. I took former Austrian ski star Anna Fenninger/Veith in the celebrity draft 2. Oh yes it's right around the corner. Fortunately, there are several million unemployed people on the sidewalk in front of us so we won't ever get to the end of the block
Well, if the cops pull you over and your skin is even a shade darker than Kamala Harris, I don't think they are going to ask you about your family history.
