Cool. Where is the *flair and pizzazz* in Japanese execution. I saw a proficient fast team, without embellishing possession. This SWE-SWI is not looking good.
I saw it in small chunks yesterday in in the Group stage from Japan. Not saying they were playing like Messi and Ronaldinho but they did show some spurts.
How did Mexico lose to this team (Sweden) and how did Brazil draw to this team(Switzerland)? Awful awful awful.
So cute With all The SA and NA People wanting extra points for "style". The reality is Sweden humiliated Mexico, With or without style. No wonder You nerver get any further if You cant Come to terms With that.
Na. Switzerland will get one good shot, it will go in, and Sweden will drive forward in hopelessly...
After Shakiri had his Puma shirt repeatedly torn in Euro 2016 he said something along the line of "I hope they don't make condoms"
It's not even about style. The technical ability on display is frighteningly limited from both teams. And incredibly boring to any neutral spectator. Not surprising from two cowardly teams who park ten behind the ball and hit on the counter hoping to snatch a goal.
Brazil did NOT lost to Switzerland, their group stage match it was 1-1 drawn. Lost is when they score more than you. In their group standing: Switzerland won 1 game, drawn 2. Brazil won 2 games, drawn 1. Brazil finished first. eta: I swear I saw you wrote Brazil lost to Sweden, now it drawn, maybe you edit your post. And there are good day games and bad day games, in ALL teams (yes, ALL teams). Just because these two are mediocre today, that doesn't make them suck.
Mexicos technical ability did not impress me as a swede in that game. We would be ashamed if we lost like that. Like 11 kids not using their heads while playing. But i get that its seen as brave over there. Very very strange. Its all about winning here, especially in The cup format.
Oh please. Sweden got astonishingly lucky to win that game. Mexico dominated possession and outshot Sweden handily. Sweden got a decent goal, a gifted Pk, and a bizarre own goal and suddenly it became a heroic victory. Mexico was the better side, but better lucky than good
This game is sad. These two teams are showing more skill aiming for the stands than the net. If this is the real quality of these two teams, and not an aberration that keeps repeating itself in this game, than I have to wonder if they could even win a penalty shoot out! Most likely, they would take turns hitting the ball out until one or the other just gets tired and concedes.
A lot of players on both teams make their living in the Bundesliga. Might help explain Germany's early departure.
Lol now Behrami gets a card. The only time he did not deserve it. Should have had one three times before though.
