He is one of the best ever and scored a dodgy goal and a wonder goal vs an average england side

He’s still a waste of life as a person and a ticking time bomb who will probably od and die within the next 5 years

Besides from being a cheat! Can you imagine the uproar if an Englishman had done that? However great second goal and a wonderful player, best I’ve ever seen imo. Just a shame he’s now an utter clown.

I thought this wasn't the Brazil thread.

And why don't you quit your incessant whining about players that dive ?

    This! Oh man, this!

These have been exactly my thoughts after the game. Southgate has done an incredible job working on mentality. England's greatest weakness was not being able to handle gamesmanship. It's too bad that he can't work the same job over the whole country.

No wonder Cantona would not like players embellishing fouls ...

Thanks for the information. I truly appreciated.
I mentioned this because I hate nationalism being used on football.
And when I talk about "english fans" I don't talk about english people.
I've been to 4 male World Cups, and believe me, differently from english citizens, english fans in WCs are among the worst appearences you can imagine.
They drive me nuts every time I see them. I don't necessarily root against England, but I root against these guys.

Indeed we are gutted when we don't win. Even when we don't have a good team.
Brazil 1982 and 1986 are over. So not "enough history". It is history.
Italy winning that World Cup buried that style. World football is living "post-Italy'82 age". It's part of the evolution of football and all teams have to follow it if they want to success. In this age 2018 Russia in a semifinal is not a chimera.
    Let's see what happens.

He scored the two greatest goals in history against England, and buried the English NT at international level for 32 years counting.

    Kleenex?

Great second goal indeed, but the first one is even greater.

Yeah, he talks and acts crazy, so do Pele and Beckenbauer. Same with Best, Puskas and Garrincha when they were alive, they do it because they can.

He cheated, end of story. Of course as a South American you probably think of cheating as some kind of 'badge of honour', the rest of the world just finds it (and the lump of lard Maradona) embarrasing.
