Was that some bs play acting by Neymar or did something happen that the replays didn't catch?

bye bye. That's got to be a red. Enough of the nonsense hacks. I'm sorry, but Neymar get so much abuse, he has to dive to avoid getting massacred.

Maybe, I'm not sure there was enough for that reaction. But Layun did that on purpose entirely, its a red, at the least a yellow.

He was stepped on - replay shows it - but not in the overly dramatic manner he showed. Reminds me of Rivaldo in 2002

I agree he put his cleat there. But even yellow is a reach there.

The Mexican player stepped on Neymar's ankle - deliberately.

Brazil bringing a new style of football to this World Cup, Rock n' Roll football.

Rock solid defense combined with rolling around on the grass hundreds of times every time there's a foul...

We witness medical miracles every time we watch a football match. Recovery time are extraordinary. Guy is up and sprinting like a spring chicken in no time.

Mexican player comes over to get the ball, steps squarely on Neymar's ankle. Can't believe they let that kind of off the ball stuff go. Clear and obvious error. Or not. Apparently kicked and stepping on players is ok.

If you watch the replay close, you can see Neymar gets his ankle stepped on slightly. Neymar then rolls around like his foot was amputated.

Not like the players have a choice. It's the world cup. Doesn't matter how much pain you're in from the hacking.

Yes. And like with the URU/POR, Ramos ignored all the extra antics. I like the non-call and ignoring

Why a yellow. It's an off the ball intentional move to hurt a player. That's red.

Remind me to stomp your ankle when play is stopped and see how you feel about it. That's a shitty attitude that leads to players getting injured. ANY hit when play is stopped ought to be red. There's no need for it.

If Neymar did that to a Mexican player, I wonder if the Mexicanos here would be as magnanimous as they've been.
