Big opportunity for us with Norwich dropping Spuds today. Five point lead would be HUGE.

scariest thing about this fixture is if we start Ramsey. I say start the Ox for this one or Gervinho.

Let's give part-timers some playing time in this game. RvP needs a rest. I want to see Park get a run out. Supposedly, he has scored some nice goals for the reserves. We must win.

he needs to score a hattrick for 3 games in a row for the reserves to play. Failure to do so, he won't get a game.

Please, let's no start with that nonsense again. I heard the same story before the QPR game.
We need to win the remaining games and we need out best players on the field for that.

Can't agree more. The only player out of that starting 11 that could possibly change is Benayoun. I would maybe change him for Ox or Gervinho.

I didn't realize there were so many games on tap today, so I was just checking the BBC for any interesting news and happened to glance first at the table and saw not only do we have our two-point lead, but now have a game in hand! Almost as big a thrill as the win yesterday.

3 points would be absolutely huge. it's going to be a scrappy game against relegation fighting team.

is this being replayed on espn3 or live only?

We need to be focus for this game! They might be a small team in regulation, but the lads need to win because getting full points is crucial at this point in the season. We cannot afford to lose.

I concur. Wolves are mortally wounded, should take little effort.
Would LOVE for us to race ahead of City and land 2nd after
the miserable start, would be a monumental season.

    Prediction: 3-nil to The Arsenal!

Can't be the semi-final because it's at Highbury. This is the Fourth Round. We beat the mighty Orient in the semi that year, two crackers from MacDonald.

Bizzarely there was no St Totteringham's Day that year! :D

Well..perhaps I am an optimist here but I think we can get the job done with this line-up:

    Chesney

    Sagna, Djorou, TV, Santos

    Gervinho, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Ox

    Park/Chamakh

Theo and RvP can come on if we need them around 65 min. RvP looks tired to me and Theo can use a rest too. Ditto for Song. Unfortunately, we have no cover for Song unless Coq is healthy.

Thanks Kev for unearthing that time capsule from '78. That was the year I was forcably separated from my boys, when we moved back the States. :(

And Grimster it looks like St. Totteringham's Day was indeed celebrated that year, as we finished 7th (48pts) and they were 11th (41pts).

That's assuming the historical tables I just looked at are correct.

I doubt we'll see many rested for this go around with Wolves, except for the truly injured (Gibbs?)... too big a chance to go 5pts clear of 4th.

    Come on you!

Actually I think the earliest St. Totteringham's could happen is after our 35th game, as we could be on 70 and they could be at 59 with only 3 games to play. So that would be Chelsea on April 21.

EDIT: Nvm, lamb's got it. Didn't realize Spurs fixtures come in so much later than ours.
