AGF finally get some possession, only to back pass three times and have the goalie launch a long ball to FCK. Really cool.

White looking very good this half though...

Was Mark Howard injured, by the way? I'm trying to understand why a 46th minute sub or a central defender would make any kind of sense.

White is their main offensive threat down the right. He just raced to the endline, but his low cross was right to a defender, Benny was in the box.

The ball goes back to AGF, and the corss is headed into the post/side netting.

Sounds like an AS Monaco tactic. Look how well it's worked for them.

Feilhaber kicks it out to White, whose looping cross can't find Budtz.

BTW, I think BUDTZ used to play forward before he was a defender, so he has at least some experience up top.

I'm thinking Benny comes out soon. I don't think his body can take playing for 90 mins.

Yep, there we go. Devderiani in for Benny. Nice effort in an unfamiliar position for a still-recovering Benny.

Benny is subbed out in the 65'. A strong outing for Feilhaber. I can't wait to see him play more in the future.

AAH!!! White has a perfect chance and sends it right at the keeper who tips it over the top.

Some U-S-A U-S-A chants for White as he is felled by a defender and doesn't get the call.

Uh oh, I think he's injured.

And White looks down and out after getting his leg stuck in. He's carried off the field. This doesn't look good.

And White is in fact subbed out.

    Damn.

The injury voodoo continues to haunt AGF Aarhus.

I hope they can hold on to get some points out of this, and also that the injury to Jerry White is not serious.

It does seem marginally absurd, at this point.

Budtz, the converted defender, with the goal. Nice.

Game ended 1-0 to AGF. Great result for an injury-struck club.

How deep are the injury woes? Is that the only reason Feilhaber got the start?

The injury woes are extremely deep. It could be said that that is the reason Benny started, but only because he himself is still not fit. If he were fit, he'd most likely be in the center of midfield with Lucena.

There is an interesting quote from AGF's manager (who is new: he came in at the winter break) in the original post of this thread about Benny's status:

I can personally vouch that his picture is true fine, as well. :)
