Who put the champs out of the carling cup we did, we did 2-0 the Baggies and for the attention of Arsenal Texan guess who we got drawn against in the next round, yep Arsenal.

Well then I'll say this to you Burning247, good luck and may the best team win. While we might not agree on other teams outside of the MLS, we agree on the Burn. :)

Wenger doesn't really take the League Cup all that seriously so I figure the Baggies have a decent chance at home.

Can a non top flight club play in Europe?

Yes, Ipswich Town played in UEFA cup when in div 1 a couple of seasons ago.

yes, the Burn, of course. May the best team win, and may both of us beat Chelsea senslessly, oh wait you already won that first game :(, damn over-rated bastards (Chelsea). I almost hate them as much as Arsenal :D

....wow sorry Mods, talk about off topic.

That's alright. The West Brom - Dallas Burn parallels are there, a team from the central of the country that doesn't get much respect from the self-styled massive clubs, but keeps plugging away at the behest of a small but hard-core group of supporters.

Burn fans in England are welcome.

Plus beating Man U is good news everywhere.

And yes I am a Chelsea supporter. (odd that a QPR fan can be both - but I am a International man of mystery wrapped in an enigma)

I'll have to root for the Gunners to beat West Brom. I saw the highlight and it looked like Fergie was playing some second-stringers.
oh well, we'll rebound from that and the 1-0 loss to Chelsea and beat Aston Villa at home.

wish it was MLS season again.

Re: Re: (R) West Brom v Man Utd

Well young lubey knows me and I still give him crap about being a glory hunter. Funny thig is when the MLS was going on and your team played, he would ask me who won the games. :D

The 2nd striing who played v West Brom included Kleberson (world cup winner). Christian Ronaldo, Nicky Butt, John Oshea and the rest i admit were the future but you do not play for Man United if you are not good enough.
I rate the Arsenal youth set up as superior to the Man United one so therefore our chances of a victory are remote but hey it is all good fun.
Mind you the most important thing is i will be there along with 30,000 more of my fellow baggies and we will Boing Boing come what may.
    Roll on the MLS season.

I would like to announce [mostly to Buring 247] that Manchester United steamrolled Aston Villa 4-nil behind Van Nistelrooy and Diego Forlan. I would have watched it at Trinity Hall but I had to work

hey you don't have to tell me, I only wish we could have got one last weekend while Aresnal tied some minow team ;), but it's all good, mighty mighty Chelski and the Arse didn't get the 3 points this weekend :D

yea I know right, it's kinda making me sick. I don't understand where Theodore came from or Gringo1 but they are really pissing me off, and I don't even know who Baya is, but at further risk of bringing the topic over here I'll shut up.

    GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!!
