I'm just glad a bunch of other teams have started slowly too. Of course, if they don't manage to beat Palace, I'll probably start hyperventilating.

SWP looked incredible against Arsenal the other day. He is a dream out there, playing both sides of the ball on both sides of the field. He out hustled everyone on Arse and looked like he wasn't even breaking a sweat.

I hope that Arsenal doesn't purchase SWP, he is going to have a great career, and I hope it's not with the big 3.

Great match for City... if you have to lose to Arsenal, that's not a bad way to do it.

Great match for you today. Taking Chelsea down was just awesome. Thank you!

    SWP looked great out there.

Not so much... I think SWP's speed is largely cancelled out when the field is as soggy as this one was.

He seemed to be very reluctant to run at defenders... but by the time he really got involved, City was already up 1-0 and were happy to sit back and defend. (Who knew City could defend like that? Pleasant surprise!)

Great Win, glad it was on TV here in the US.

    Come On, Citeh!

Keegan's not a happy chap. Courtesy of the Beeb:

Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan was unable to contain his rage as he blasted referee Steve Dunn's handling of his side's 4-3 defeat to Newcastle.
Keegan said: "He was a poor referee - he got so many little things wrong, that led to big things happening.

"He had a nightmare. Was the penalty really a penalty? And was it a free-kick that they scored from it."

"I would like the referee to have a look at his performance and write me a letter, but I'm not holding my breath."

    And neither am I.

I was at the game today, and for me the big question is why doesn't Keegan play Wright-Phillips where he can do most damage to the opposition?

With Anelka / Macken and then Fowler / Macken, City didn't threaten at all.

At 2-0 down, Keegan put Wright-Phillips upfield with Fowler. Suddenly, they threatened to score everytime they got the ball.

Wright-Phillips scored two and could have had more.

Willo Flood scored in the 11th and seems to be having a great game, at least according to the radio guys.
    City 1 -- Norwich 0

It's MCTV, which is a pay service on the Man City website.

Fowler is coming on for McManaman. There's a dilemma for City fans. ;)

1-1 with around the 85th minute.

Is there any wonder Norwich draw so many games when they have 2 goalkeepers?

Did you see the game? I had to take the word of the radio guys. They certainly thought it deserved a penalty.

The radio guys talked about him repeatedly as the most effective City player.

When I was at the COMS last, he looked a very lively player and bagged on too.
The problem is the most of the squad is poor.

    KEEGAN OUT!!!
