At HT the score is 1-0. Calliste got the goal after about 15 minutes. It's been a good, open game with a fair number of chances for both teams, but United just about deserve to be in front IMO. Lee Martin has been very good in what must be one of his very first games after he was bought from Wimbledon. Blake and McShane have also stood out. This is also the first time I've seen Kasper Schmeichel play. He's made some good saves, but will be disappointed about the goal.
2-0 Calum Flannagan (sp?) after 76 minutes. Unfortunately Lee Martin had to go off with what looked like a hamstring injury. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.
2-0 FT A very wet but fairly uneventful and comfortable 2nd half. Apart from the goal and a couple of injuries, that is. You americans might be interested to know that Spector came on and did well.
The lads dids well tonight especially seeing that Chris Eagles was not playing, i think Brian McClair was a bit too critical of the performance, they played well and was an enjoyable game to watch. This was the first time i saw Lee Martin play and he impressed me greatly, if this game wasnt a one off and all of his performances are like this then this kid has a very bright future ahead of him, he loves to run at players, is very quick and for someone as skinny as him he is very strong, shame about the injury though. Paul McShane impressed me as he usually does and in a few years time i can see him being on the verge of first team action.

Anyone know why Spector was subbed at half? Did he pick up an injury? I didn't see anything in the match reports on the web.
He wasn't subbed. He came on at half time. According to the commentators this was because he picked up an injury in his previous game and hadn't recovered enough to risk him playing a full game.
