My 7th birtdady...20 July 1969. We moved across the country from Connecticut to San Jose and arrived on that very same day. Me and my family watched the moon landing on our black and white TV, and we fortunately witnessed history. I feel forever linked to that historic event, because it happened on my birthday. I am sad, yet as a human being, I can't help but feel that we all are better because Neil Armstrong took the first steps onto another world. Thank the makers that made us who we are. We are better beings for that historic event...man landing on the moon. All hail Neil Armstrong, a true Human hero, a humble man whom we should all be thankful to, for that acheivement, for it makes us all better as a collective group of beings.

It'll be interesting to see if NASA will ever resume moon landings.

I hope they do...I'd like to go, especially for a birthday (July 20).

Twice if it's a Sunday...can't be worse than some of the early Meals-Ready to Eat (MRE) or late k-rations I had on active duty. LoL

Considering that oxygen would be at a premium up there, what would they do to replace blowing out candles? :D
