CR-Grenada second leg is listed on the Gol TV schedule. They are doing a great job with the CONCACAF qualifiers, hopefully they get the non-US/Mexico semifinal round matches as well. Guyana will have "Fatso" but not "Blackhead" for their return leg against Suriname: http://www.stabroeknews.com/?p=14978
Bahamas 0 - 6 Jamaica http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=241544&cc=5901 Congratulations to Jamaica. They advance by an aggregate total of 13-0.
Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. But the next round is... Group stage? With then the final stage being the table of 6 teams with 3 advancing to the WC? Or are we going now to the final stage of the qualifiers?
No your right, next is the group stage. There will be three groups of four, the top two in each group going through to the final round of qualifying, where the top 3 will get automatic qualification to WC2010 and whoever finishes fourth will go to the playoff against CONMBOL's fifth best side.
I have the following advancing: USA Mexico Guatemala Costa Rica Canada Cuba Netherland Antillies Bermuda El Salvador But really though, all I care for is ES going through. If they don't I'll be devastated.
Well Jamaica, Honduras already advanced....who is the third? As for ES, me too chero... We need to get at least to the group stage. Anything beyond is a straight up bonus for me.
Here's what CONCACAF has to say about the 10 upcoming second legs: http://www.concacaf.com/view_article.aspx?id=4226
Tonight's game in Montreal is actually starting at 7:30 p.m. ET instead of 8:30 as originally reported. It's being broadcast by Gol TV.
It should be 3-0, that goal by Issey was onside. I remember reading a few years ago that FIFA was considering having cross-Confederation refereeing for World Cup Qualifying. I think that would be great, the standard of officiating in our zone would go up immensely.
Since no one else is posting. It is 3-0 Canada. Dwayne de Rosario scored another, on a horrible save attempt by Vincy's keeper. Also, at the start of the 2nd half Jim Brennan came in for Klukowski at Left Back.
The game is also getting a little dodgy. Vincy's players are making some reckless tackles and the Salvadoran ref is doing nothing about it.
A word of warning to everyone in CONCACAF: Watch out for Joel Aguilar from El Salvador. This guy and his crew have no idea what they're doing and could cost teams dearly in the semis/hex.
