I expect to see Conan make an appearance, but after the massive statement made in the last match, I think this clip is appropriate as well. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qheb3JyMHSU"]YOU TELL HIM I'M COMING - YouTube[/ame]
As long as Squillaci and Djorou don't see the pitch, I am ok. Let's have Miquel play at CB with Kos and Yossi or Ox play as AMF. Liverpool are beatable. We can win this ugly.
Always tough to go to Anfield, but this game is very winnable. Pool are a dreadful team full of overpriced mediocrity. I say 3-1 to the Gunners.
Awesome. Must Spread Rep doh. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAdzBaPDmJk"]What is best in life? - YouTube[/ame]
I'm a little more skeptical about this one than the spurs game. The pressure is off us, and we always seem to play better with our backs to the wall.
After the first goal against Tottenham, it was as if Verm and Kos looked at each other and said, "What the bloody ********? We are two of the most impressive defenders at the club since the Invincibles." And they totally got their game together. That defensive performance against Totteham after the Saha goal was incredible. They won damn near every 50/50. Also, I would love for Aaron to be mentored (sorry for the Football Manager reference) by Rosicky to learn composure and to enhance Rambo's vision. The way Tommy knew the layout of the field and when to slow down and speed up was key to the game.
Also, we could just give away a penalty right away on purpose, so Gerrard/Adam can fire it into the upper tier and blow their confidence.
We can win without much doubt. It depends on which Arsenal shows up. The Blackburn/Spurs/Chelsea Arsenal or the Swansea/AC Milan one. Our biggest lesson now must be consistency. Most Premier League teams (nay all) know we can slaughter any team that comes our way. I'd bet many managers thought "whoa!" when looking at yesterday's game.
Our starting 11 should walk onto the pitch with a beer each and offer them to Carroll...it's 10 v 11 at that point. 2-0 to the good guys from London.
Liverpool consistently show grit and energy, but so do we. We've out-classed them on many occasions the last few years and I think we can do it again - But don't forget last season. This year's squad has shown more heaps more heart than last year's but we need consistency down the stretch if we're gonna catch Tottenham. We have a real goal now. We're still better than them - everyone in England saw that yesterday. We should thrive off this rivalry, get another win, put some pressure on them, they remember, their fans remember. Let doubt sink in at Shite Hart Lane and watch their season come off the rails. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so it's fitting that the Sp*rs pull an Arsenal at the end of February.
Would love to see another performance like his from Arteta. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFD1vZ6w3rc"]Arteta vs Tottenham - YouTube[/ame]
Rosicky v Tottenham would have been a good video to see as well. Song too. He was close to perfection.
My Prediction: 2-1 to The Arsenal. I think both sides will have their chests out and heads held high coming off off big wins. Arsenal pulls it out with a late winner. RVP is suspended for the upcoming fixture against L'Pool at Anfield. I wonder if Arsene would decide to play Theo upfront as an out and out striker. Walcott started the second half vs the Spurs on a more central role and playing closer to RVP and had an excellent performance. IMHO, that may be a better option than starting Chamack.
