I know that we are third for the moment but we have a tough run-in including matches against Chelsea, City and relegation scrappers. This one is at home against a team that will park the bus for sure. We have to break them down. Stay united and win!

    Classic Arsenal 5-0 Villa

no reason to not believe we get this done at home.
definitely would change the lineup with gervinho replacing ramsey.
gervinho has taken on the arshavin role... not really what was expected at all.

I agree give Gerv a start though I would play Ramsey ahead of Rosicky just for this game. Only 2 days of rest so why risk Rosicky we should be able to take.

Yah I'd like to see Gervinho get a start. He hasn't started since he came back from Africa, right?

He looked lively against Everton. Start Ox and Gervinho?

Also, what's up with Song? He's looked awful post ACN.

    1. He didn't go to the ACN.

    2. He's hardly looked awful. He's the ONLY guy in the team currently capable of breaking up play in the midfield, and I'm sure it's taking it's toll physically, but he still is a force going forward and has a couple of nice assists.

    3. I don't know what we'd do without him right now, to be honest.

Song has played a million minutes. Think about it. He has no backup on the team and basically starts every game. No wonder he's spent.

As for AV, gotta believe we smoke these guys.

We'll mop the floor with them, but I forgot how little I missed Ramsey.

Hopefully, he'll get back to his pre-injury form eventually.

Song needs a rest, maybe play Coq against AV?

Thanks for that find. We were damn good that day (very early 90's looks like). Still under George Graham and playing some attractive stuff! Yet another Seaman miracle save too.

As for our run-in, I don't think it's that hard... if we just keep our confidence, fitness and effort.

Six in a row... let's make it 7!

p.s. Song is fine. He clearly benefited form the 8 or 9 days w/o a match. I thought he was as good against Everton as he's been in quite a few matches.

Coq is still injured, we have no other option there. Song will start. I would not be surprised if Arsene rotates the team a bit tomorrow after a hard fought tough Everton game 2 days ago. I could see Gervinho starting and either Diaby or Santos as well.

Really? I haven't seen it. The guy is just amazing player and at worst is good.

I would definitely like to see Gerv on the wing and would LOVE to see Ox in the middle. Would never happen tho.

I expect to see something like this:

[LINEUP-4-3-3]Gerv, RVP, Ox, Ramsey, Song, Arteta, Gibvs, Kos, Verm, Sagna, Szczesny[/LINEUP-4-3-3]

However, Walcott might start, moving Ox/Gervinho to the bench or Ox in Ramsey's Spot

lol.. Gooners are something else. why be negative, when we're on a streak?

We are sure favourites to win at the least, and this McLeish Villa team are seriously shit. I don't get how we lost to Brum in the League Cup final, McLeish led them to relegation and now Villa (obviously a big English football club) look like just dodging relegation. He's like Walter Smith, he did good at the Billy Boys, but in a top/decent league has crumbled.
