Argentinien: Lux - Sorin, Heinze, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Coloccini - Santana, Riquelme, Bernardi - Maxi Rodriguez, Saviola, Galletti - Trainer: Pekerman

Tunesien: Fadhel - Saidi, Trabelsi, Ayari, Jaidi - Chadli, Benachour, Mnari, Essediri - Mhadhebi, Guemamdia - Trainer: Lemerre

Still 0:0, Argentina had it's chances
but Mhadhebi should win the "Idiot of the Game"-Award .... he had a penalty in the 18th ... and missed it .. but how ... that try was POOR

Mnari from Nurnberg just had a chance.

That Argentine lineup looks awfully young with the exception of Saviola and Riquelme.

It would be nice to see Saviola come back, he's exciting.

Well Saviola is 24 which i would still consider to be pretty young and Riquelme is more or less the same age.

I'm also a big fan of Saviola though.

'70 Tunisian attacker through on goal but is tripped up by Luz, the Argentinine keeper, and that'll be the third penalty of the match!

And the striker (Guemamdia) puts it in! And Tunisia are back in it!

    '93 FT

    Argentina 2 (Riquelme(P), Saviola)
    Tunisia 1 (Guemamdia)

With a 50% reserve team, Argentina still wins, gains three points, and takes top place in the group for now, though Tunisia didn't make it easy for them. Germany will have to watch out against Tunisia because here they put in a very respectable performance.

Argentina looked well in attack. But lets remeber it was against an waful tunisian defense. They didnt ended up 4-0 at half because of errors of Argentina.Still good attacking also invlves definition and if you dont have that you dont have nothing.

The defense of ARGENTINA had some problems with tunisian offense and gooalkeeper lux just doesnt seem to confident.Argentina was not able to control the game when they were winning 2-0 that should be a problem since they faced Tunisia.

I do believe Argntina is taking the tournament seriously,it is a true opportunity to win a tournament for them since thay have not won something important in almost 19 years (besides the olimpic gold medal)Oh and because Brazil is also in the tournament. Some sort of envy must be in that.

The fact they only scored two should concern Argentina...

However, when they face Germany they should score 7 then! :D

Most of them had to prove themselves to Pekerman.

Awfully tough to get into Argentine NT...any sort of good impression will have to be really good, Argentina's best strikers and midfielders at least are sitting this tournament out.
