BEing that this mini tourney is happening in the US, surely he'd get some minutes.....But if Gooch has only take part in one training session with the team, a start would be difficult spot to handle, so i'd rather see ACM take it slowly..They may not want to burn him for going too fast with him...Then again, it's Aguilas del America they are playing :p

I also think its funny that Ives was wondering if people thought a Club America player would try to take out Gooch. It would be hilarious to see a little Mexican forward like Esqueda try to hurt Gooch. He would bounce off and probably hurt himself in the process.

Most importantly, we'll get to see what number he wears.

It would be great to see gooch get some playing time, but i wouldn't be too surprised if they saved him for the next game.

It depends on what you believe Ives was saying. I don't know if he talked to Gooch or someone at AC Milan, but he seems to be expecting Gooch to play some at least.

"When Oguchi Onyewu takes the field for AC Milan tonight in its friendly against Club America..."

Am I reading this right? It's on ESPN2HD?

Oh man, Gooch has GOT to be playing then!:D

Prediction: He plays flawless defense, scores a hat trick, and stays on my DVR for all time...

The line up sheet for the Galaxy-Milan game had him listed as number 14 (I think, this is from memory and I don't have it in front of me.)

Clearly, this means Gooch is the next Cruijff.

New coach for AC Milan. Sure he will send Gooch out there. Why not? Give the US fans something to cheer. Plus this is a Mexican team: Gooch is kryptonite.

This is also a semi-homecoming for him. Clemson is only about 2 hours from Atlanta. I'm sure that a few people have made the trip.

Starting off this one on the bench. Maybe he will be able to come in as a sub, excited to see Ronaldinho as well. One of my favorite players, hopefully he has a good season and gets his form back, would not want him to miss the world cup next year.

not to be a "homer" but milan's D is looking very weak.

also what are the chances that all the people not posting but watching will post if and when gooch comes in?

Ronaldinho is absolute garbage. Milan need to get rid of him asap while he still has some value. He is a turnover machine. Maybe Man City would want him, they're dumb enough and rich enough....maybe even get Ireland in return.

shot from esqueda easily saved by the milan keeper whose name i do not know. 36'

Torito silva is probably the best player on the field for the first 37 minutes IMO

Honestly, Lalas sounds completely subdued. Did he get fired from another GM position?
