Adelaide United is going to have another crack at Melbourne Victory, as well as become the first team to go to two straight ACLs. Lucky Reds, the lot of em.

I think the fact adelaide played 120 minutes tonight will play its part next week. They (along with the Jets) looked absolutely stuffed at the end.

Then again, Melbourne haven't been in great form and have had a week off, so that could work against them.

I don't think it will go to penalties unless Costanzo and Beltrame have a repeat performance of tonight.

I think I will be tipping Melbourne, with the home crowd enough to get them home.

Question for the adelaide supporters, how will the suspension you guys picked up affect your line up??

A league grand final Live on fsc

I have just found out from soccertv.com that FSC is going to be airing the Australian grand final Live at 1:00 am EST on 2-18.
It seems like coverage will be ending around 4:30am EST. I'm guessing there is pre-game before he kickoff. Time to set the TIVOs

Adelaide is now match hardened, and with a week off, Melbourne may be a little bit off the pace.

As we saw with the Melbourne Storm in the NRL last year, the runaway minor premiers fell down when it got to Grand Final stage.

I'd like to see Adelaide win, if only to keep the Victory supporters in this forum quiet!! ;)

Adelaide want revenge, and they'll be pumped more than ever to get the win.

    Adelaide to win 2-1.

Favourites do not always win. MV are so good in their minds that they will lose 1-0 and thus be known as the biggest chokers in the A- League. Then again, we all know how much the FFA loves MV and its large crowds (good on them by the way), so will probably put Matthew Breeze in charge who will proceed to rule in favour of MV throughout the game!

Adelaide's line up will depend on who is fit, maybe Spagnuolo or Petta may get fit, but if Van Dommele plays we've had it.

p.s. the fact Matthew Kemp was yellow carded by that moron Breeze for a tackle that he clearly won the ball in, and will now miss the GF is a disgrace.

    Go Reds

All this talk of Melbourne being off the pace is rubbish

Melbourne have a much better line-up than adelaide, have a full-list that is fresh. Adelaide are gonna have to play better than they have all season. If they perform like they did a week ago, or the week before that, it will be a route.

    Go Vics!!

Rout has no 'e', and are you referring to the game a week ago where Melbourne won in injury time with a fluky header?

Yeah- then this game has rout written all over it!!!

Assuming FSC stands for Fox Soccer Channel, you can get it on the internet via TVANTS. So for those without foxtel and not in melbourne you can see the Grand Final for free!

just go to fsicrew.info for details on how to set it up.

Thanks guys. I had heard of the team before visiting Melbourne during December. Even was at the record-crowd match versus Sydney and have been hooked since. :p
