Here's the 2 Zenit tallies from yesterday: Katulskiy http://www.radist.net/2003-1.avi Nice counter-attack, with a perfect cross from Spivak to the head of Katulskiy. Kerzhakov http://www.radist.net/2003-2.avi Typical impressive Kerzhakov strike. New arrival Shirl makes something out of nothing & threads a seeing-eye pass through 3 Saturn defenders to Kerzhakov, who takes it left and rips a tight angle shot to the far post.
I get an error that says it's unable to render video. I'm guessing you taped the game, captured, and tried to render? Prof
Nope...downloaded it from here http://spb.kulichki.net/video/?1 , unzipped it with WinRAR & posted it. Works fine with Windows Media Player 9.
If you are having problems with your current video player with the .AVI files, download this: http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX502Bundle.exe
Zenit, I don't know what's wrong, but, while I can download the clip, I only get the audio. Which is nice and all, with all the excitement of the commentator, but I really wanted to sneak a peek at those new Zenit kits
Seems like some others are having problems too, judging by the AFZ guestbook...some have no problems at all....most seem to be using an older version of Windows Media....did you try it with both the DivX player & WM9? WM can be a maddening piece of software....when I use WM9 from home, I also get only the sound when I try to d/l the Wild highlights from the previous evening -- yet it works just fine using an old WM6.xx on my NT box at work. Go figure.
Best I can find, at the moment....Kerzhakov netting the winner on Saturday...you can't see much of Kerzhakov, but you can kinda get an idea from Shirl, standing in the background:
I tried the clips from work, which uses WM 6.4. Also unable to work, only sound. However, when I downloaded the DivX bundle & insiatlled it, apparently the codec missing for WM6 came along with it because it works fine now. Again, it works just fine with WM9. No thanks to our sysop here at work, I can't upgrade it.
Oh man... They canned the lovely sky blue shirts for THIS? Unaccpetable! But, I am glad to see that the Teletubbies are apparently the only RPL side to adopt the latest Nike rage: the ugly tapered side stripes.
Better pics .... Kerzha Looks like they put a Ford logo on the left sleeve, too. Well, that is an unwelcome addition to the backside.
ftp://ftp.dol.ru/pub/users/stasis/zenit2003/lok-zen2003-sum.rm Pretty poor quality Real Media summary of the Loko-Zenit tilt. Some pretty depressed Loko announcers take you through the highights/lowlights (depending on one's point of view). The Loko goal was well set up...nice header to a waiting Pimenov, who doesn't miss much with opportunities like that. Neither Zenit goal was Ovchinnkov's best effort, and the eventual game winner was a real howler for normally reliable Sergei. On Konoplev's goal, another nice feed from Arshavin, 2nd week in a row Andrei sets up Zenit's opening tally. Kerzha's goal is about as ugly as it gets, but they all count the same. Derailed in Moscow! March Madness, Baby!
The ol' white shoulder treatment for Loko? And what is up with the pitch? Looks terrible on the RM clip, all dirt.
