It's been dead. But they're on the road to recovery as well as the Metros. I think they'll both be in the mix this year. Besides, wouldn't the rivalry be a lot more fun if both were good?
I actually hope we DON'T win "that Atlantic trophy thing". That trophy is a gisgrace to soccer in the USA and to the progress of MLS so far. Ditto for the Brimstone Cup or whatever the hell that other fake trophy is....
I've said this three or four times, but it apparently bears repeating: It's highly likely that the way teams jockeyed for position all through last season will be repeated this year. In fact, with the MetroStars and DC United improving, it stands to be more wild than ever. Anyone pulling their act together could cop the title. It's wide open. It should be a ton of fun. And screw "that Atlantic trophy thing." Think big! Go for it all!
