Single Elimination in the TFC CCC.? Necaxa offered Morelia a 1 match single elimination for the semifinals. Still has to be approved by CONCACAF and Morelia. Who do you guys think? If it is played with that format, where should the game be held? Nuetral venue in Mexico or the US? If America does advance, TFC wouldnt mind having Toluca and America play a single game in LA... that game is bound to sell out the coliseum
Makes sense to me. We touched on this at the CONCACAF board. Like I said before, once there are only Mexican teams involved, CONCACAF no longer really cares what happens since their objective is to have as many games as possible in the US with Mexican teams in order to make dollars. With the MLS crash and burn, that plan went out the window so I would think CONCACAF would rejoice at having one-offs between Mexican teams in the US. The Mexican teams would be able to play less games - something they would definitely want. So in the end there's something to be gained by everyone. Somebody may actually televise some of these matches live. Imagine that for a CONCACAF tournament.
i think its a good adia,this way the teams will play harder in that one game,which makes for a better games. Who do you guys think will win this cup? my vote is for Morelia,they are playing great soccer right now.The one two punch that Navia and Bofo have going on,is going to be hard to stop.
Just in case some of you missed it, Morelia gangraped Necaxa 6-0 yesterday and is the first finalist. This is the third time in two years Morelia totaly a.ss rapes a team with a 6-0 scoreline.
Morelia kicks a$$ dude i hope they participate in next years Libertadores they would no doubt do better than Pumas or Cruz Azul
Morelia does kick ass and takes names, but they tend to be a bit inconsistent. Remeber, they just lost to Necaxa 3-0 in the home league, but then again we can't ask for 6-0's or 5-0's all the time.
I dont think Morelia is inconsistent they have done well in the Mexican League for about 5 years now IMO they are highly underrated i wouldnt be surprised if they made the QFs this year
