If the road to hell is paved with men of good
intentions, where does that put Harry Truman?

The Pandora's Box of WMD was first opened in August 1945.

I thought it was paved with 6" D.G.A.B.C. sub-base, 7" stabilized base mix (No. I-2) and 2" surface course (No. I-5).

By the way, thank Truman for keeping Douglas McArthur from using nukes in Korea despite the insistence from his aides and the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff.

Look, the cat was out of the bag already. The fact is that Truman should have let McArthur go ahead. We wouldn't be in the position of having to deal with the possibility of the North Koreans nuking Seattle now.

Yes, because there's no way Russia would have retaliated with their own nukes

We would have outnuked them. They hadn't reached nuclear "Mutually Assured Destruction"
    parity yet.

Sorry, when you said "Hell" I thought you were referring to Columbus, Ohio.

I see no further need to respond to your posts.
