Got a quick question in regards to the stadium.

The capacity of Gillette is 68,000 for football. The reports out of foxboro yesterday state that over 40000 have been sold already. I have also heard that the 2nd tier has sold out. If the second tier has sold out how many tickets does that mean have been sold... The Red Luxury seats can fit 6000 people. THe blue sections on the corners can fit 10000. This being said, are they selling those red seats? If not will they figure into attendance? If it s true that the lower two bowls are full does that mean that 40,000 seats are sold or 46,000 seats sold.

The upper deck (3rd tier General Admission) seats 11,000 on either side. Have they only opened one side so far or are both sides open? Will these seats sell out completely? If they can average 6,000 a day for Thursday and Friday that would force the stadium to open up the other side. With APproximately 9000 available for Saturday and sunday. Does anyone think that this game will sell out?????

The luxury box seats belong to the owners of the luxury boxes, if they wish to purchase them for the game. They will not be sold to the general public. I believe they are part of the 68,000.

I am feeling pretty good about this, if there are over 45,000 tickets sold on Thursday, it seems like you should expect a crowd approaching 60,000 for this game. I read that that Mass' big Youth League might reschedule games so as not to coincide with the event. If the soccer moms and their kids haven't even begun to purchase seats yet, you could even hope for a sellout!! That would look so great on national TV, and would be a good story for the MLS to push.

Weather.com predicts partly cloudy and 56 degrees.
Could be perfect football weather, if Sat. rain doesn't carry over to Sunday.
