If I had to pick one, as much as I hate to say it, Beckham. The marketing oppurtunities would be too good to pass up.

I can see the headlines now...

"In a stunning turn of events, MLS is being over-run with 37 year old European players looking to finish off their careers..."

"Real Salt Lake recently signed Zinedine Zidane for nearly 4 mil. and a lifetime supply of Rogaine."

"In LA, Landon Donovan was arrested for allegedly bitch slapping his new teammate David Beckham accross the face for drinking his Gatorade."

"Newly aquired striker Ronaldo, gets married to teammate Joey Franchino as both men come out of the closet."

David Beckham, because he'd be even bigger than the Freddy Adu craze in 2004. Also Beckham would be an all-star caliber player. I'd like to see him in about three years here. My guess is that he would play for the Galaxy, because it's either LA or the Metros for him, and he already has his soccer academy in LA. Also it would be a great oppurtunity for him to extend his celebrity status in this country.
