i am going to be in italy taking a class for school from january 6 - january 26. i was wondering if anyone could tell me when I could see a match during that time? i am going to be in rome, assissi, and florence and i would like to check out a match if i could. thanks for your help.
I moved this to the main Italy forum for perhaps some better visibility. I'm sure you'll have an opportunity to see some game(s). Either Lazio or Roma plays a home game each weekend at the Olympic stadium in Rome. Although Fiorentina has vanished from the league, Empoli is near to Florence and are also in Serie A. Or you could catch Florentia Viola in a Serie C2 match at the famed Artemio Franchi stadium in Florence. Can't recall how close Assissi is to any Serie A cities. Anybody? Here are the home games for Roma, Lazio and Empoli the weekends you will be there: Jan 11-12 Roma-Chievo, Empoli-Torino Jan 18-19 Lazio-Udinese Jan 25-26 Lazio-Reggina Roma-Chievo or Lazio-Udinese would be my picks in that set of matches.
