In the last couple of weeks many of the company sponsored pros began wearing the new Adidas Pulse and the Puma Cellerator Zero. Over the last week and a half or so many of those old athletes are back to wearing Manias and Shudohs. Did the boot companies do this as a pre-release tease? Or have these guys decided they like the old boots better????????

Sometimes right before a boot gets released, companies will paint over the new shoe with the style of the old one. They may be wearing Pulses, but with all the cosmetic changes, they look like Manias. Could be the same for the Puma's. The Pulses have already been released, though. So I don't see why they would do that...

Why are you asking me this??? :) There could be several reasons...
    1. Athletes (not just footballplayers) are notoriously conservative about their equipment. They usually need some time to get used to the new boots (i.e. have to see success on other players' feet)
    2. Not all players who wear Manias are sponsored by Adidas! Some just go to a shop and buy them because they are so good!!!
    3. Probably the players don't yet have the new boots for all groundconditions...
