i am curious to hear how many of you think the '********' thing is lame. personally, i thought it was funny the first couple of times, but hearing it everytime the goalie kicks it just seems so . . . childish, vulgar and in poor taste. IMO creativity makes things funny, being vulgar just makes your fan base look bad.

you guys are having a great season and i am looking forward to a solid game on thursday. cheers

I still think its funny and something the entire stadium can easily join in on.

I agree it's kinda dumb, but at least it's something the entire stadium yells and is familiar with.

I love it as well!!! If you don't like it, don't listen. LMAO, kinda hard huh? Go ask fans from other teams stupid questions because I don't see the point of this one. It's not gonna change. I guess you can say it's tradition carrying over. :D

well, it depends who you ask and when you ask!

for example.... if you ask me!
When my kids are around... my kids an I say 'Churro'
When my mother in law is around, we say 'Burro' ;)
and when it is just me and my friends... you know what we all say! :D

A couple of years ago! I took my kids to see Chivas play in Guadalajara!
and they like that fact that here just as over there... visiting Goalies get to hear it!

not a stupid question. why don't you try to learn a little class and not insult someone how isn't insulting you? i was just curious on the take of CUSA fans, plain and simple.

personally i can't stand the '********' thing because at the end of the game my kids end up saying "daddy what does ******** mean". i end up telling them, "no sweetheart they are saying pluto". but because there are always a handful of nacos that are loud and indifferent that they are surrounded by families . . . my kids can clearly can tell they aren't saying 'pluto'. but, this is just my personal take.

in all honesty, i don't have as big an issue with the legion doing it . . . supporter groups areas are something that all fans should be aware aware of as a 'walk on the edge' location. more than half of what goes on in there is not 'family friendly' (way too drunk, things getting thrown, fowl language, fights, etc). all of that is cool (except for the fights and throwing thing), when it is kept contained in a specific area and fans like me (when i am with the kids) can know where to avoid. my point is, i take issue with the guys that are inter-mixed with the family crowds acting like they are in a supporters section.

I hope you never go to a game in Mexico to watch your beloved Cruz Azul, if your afraid of "Nacos".

In that case put your kids in a little box and put earplugs on them and don't send them to school and... you get my drift? We all know what happens in stadiums and we can't control what is said, now get your head out of your ass and open your eyes. There is still no point to this thread. All supporters of any team do not always agree on what happens in the stadium except that we all want our team to win. While some of us yell ******** and others churro or burro, well to each his own. As a parent I already know what is going to be said and I have educated my children on what are bad words and what are not. So they know that ******** is a bad word and don't say it. It all starts at home. Let me just end with this: If you don't talk to your kids and educate them yourself, THE WORLD WILL!!!:D

The best part is the reaction after a non-Spanish speaking person asks you what it means. It happen to me @ yesterday's game.

It's all in fun, keep it.

    PUUUUTO!

FOR YOUR INFORMATION, MOST OF THE TIMES THE WORD BEING USED IS
'BURRO', BUT THE OTHER WORD, APPIES ONLY TO GALAXY PLAYERS, FANS AND STAFF.

Maybe you need to learn a little class? We appreciate your input but obviously your not a Chivas supporter so maybe you should take your dead horse and beat it elsewhere!

funny hearing a CUSA fan lecture on class . . . especially considering the actions last thursday. BTW, i wanted to say thanks to the coward la legion supporter that threw a beer at me, nearly nailed my 7 year old daughter, then ran away like a girl.

It is unfortunate that you had a bad expierence but you must resist the temptation to stereotype all Chivas supporters as thugs.

Yeah ... so back to the question .....

******** is not for everyone, and not everyone sayes it.

Sometimes you just need a churro.

    I like Ranka's response.

If your non-Spanish friends, kids, or in-laws ask you,"what's EVERYONE chanting...?"
Just make something up! Its not so much WHAT the fans are yelling, its rush that EVERYONE is yelling in unison.

Thanks for the "clean" version. My 3 and 4 year old are gonna get a kick at yelling at Hartman this Saturday. (No disrespect to Kevin, who I happen to think is the best GK the Galaxy has ever had. But he is gonna get a huge Chuuuuuuurrrrrrrrroooooo!):D

It's something that shouldn't be dissected, because chances are, if you are looking to get offended, then you will be offended.
