Yes that is a good example Gary and I definitely think it would constitute DOGSO-F. In my post I actually did mean PIADM specifically by sitting on the ball (as is the discussion in this thread) but in my haste left out the last bit. That is my fault and I'm glad you clarified with a perfect example.
Well, from a player's standpoint, a DFK isn't all that bad considering the alternative is that the GK picks up the ball, and secondly, getting a whack in the thigh might just dissuade the player from using the same unsporting tactic in the future.
