What if FC Dallas makes it to the MLS Cup? Not hating, they're a good team, but wouldnt there be a clear crowd bias? Or would the league/opposing team pull a RBNY and bus/fly thousands of the other fans in for free?

    Wait for it...

it wasn't that bad, was it??

    only 61,000 home fans

nothing too bad, the play on the field kinda sucked the life outta 'em, not to mention LA winning

1997, and the 57000 home fans at RFK was probably the best crowd bias when it came to MLS cup finals

Kinda like Georgia playing LSU in the Georgia Dome, whooping them, then a month later forgetting to play the 1st quarter against...West Virginia? That's like DC United spotting the Charleston Battery a 3 goal lead by the 25th minute.

If a whole lotta US troops thwacked the Nazis in Europe, I think a soccer team can overcome 20,000 fans cheering against them. :)

No no, the Red Bulls are the Nazis. Did I mess that up:? :D

(Add this to the list of jokes we need to make sure Don Garber never makes in public)

Well, from a marketing perspective it might not be a bad thing if a majority of the fans in the stands actually care about one of the teams on the field. It would (hopefully) make for lively crowd shots on TV.

Exactly. I could think of worse things that could happen.
