    Hey,

Was it the second home game of the first season that the Crew scored 2 goals in the last 1:30 or so? Fans stormed the field afterward and such.

Who else was there? I was living in C-bus at the time and I went to all the home games at the horseshoe. But that game, so early in the first season of MLS was just awesome.

Yeah, second game ever. Against New England, IIRC. That was great... I've never seen Khumalo run as fast as he did for the locker room.

I was there...didn't storm the field though. McBride had both of those goals.

I didn't storm the field either, DRW. I was there with two small children and leaving them by themselves in Ohio Stadium just didn't seem like a good idea.

"The kids? Gee, honey, I told them to stay where they were, but after I ran down and participated in the riot and had to call someone for bail money and all, when I got back at midnight they were gone. Why don't we just get to work and have a couple more?

But I do recall Khumalo. I think he thought he was back in Johannisberg or something, and he was going to be set on fire.

In retrospect, that might not have been a bad idea.

We may have gotten another allocation if he had been set on fire.
