With the news that Hudson has been fired it reminded me of a question that I've been wondering about for a while. The AP report is headlined "Englishman won't get to coach Adu" and includes this sentence "United announced Monday they will not pick up the option on coach Ray Hudson's contract, dismissing the colorful Englishman after two seasons and a 19-25-14 record." I seem to recall Hudson saying sometime in 2002 that he was planning to become an American citizen -- that he had been here for 20 plus years and that the 9/11 attacks had cemented for him the feeling that this was now home. 1) Does anyone else remember this? 2) Does anyone know if he ever pursued it -- if he is in the process or in fact has become an American citizen. Just curious. Thanks.
Freddy adU......But this is weird, correct me if i am wrong but doesn't it go something like..."Here's good luck to fredricks ventures, Fredrick's out of his indentures.....was his name frederick? Because if so this just became Titipu United!" "Welcome joy ADU to rapture"......he he he he God this is soooo weird.
That was Pirates Of Penzance. And, given that there was a controversy surrounding his age (he was born on February 29), it's rather apt!
I think Welcome joy ADU to rapture was Sourcerer, but clearly I took liberties! Hey you are on capitol, ever watch games at Politiki? I was there for thr CFC ManUre game this weekend.
