loving that win vs Cruz Azul , my buddies came out with that cartoon of the rabbit shooting an Angry bird. So I spun that hoe around and said Angry Cocks coming at your face. haha man they hate that Queretero won.

On a sad note I spoke to a tio that goes back and forth to Arroyo Seco and he said that the Narco shit is now in that area and said it's no longer safe at night. I was wanting to go next spring to catch a match. We'll have to see what happends before I plan a trip.

YES. Queretaro has never made it to the liguilla. the closest i remember was 9th or 10th place, the same season that Queretaro and Irapuato were financially relegated as the FMF slimmed down fro 20 teams to 18.

Queretaro is actually in 7th place, not 8th. they have San Luis, Toluca and Estudiantes. its gonna be a fun three weeks watching all the matches :)

Well, Gallos have done as much as possible to earn their spot, and sit currently on #7.
Tigres and Pumas are sitting at #8 and #10, respectively, and each have a game in hand.

For Gallos to fully qualify, we need

scenario 1. Tigres loss. UNAM loss or tie. We stay at 7th place, our best run ever and play Cruz Azul at #2.

scenario 2. Tigres Ties, and moves up to 3rd/7th place, Gallos to 8th. UNAM Loss/tie will see us through to qualifications and play #1 Chivas.

but we do not qualify if:

scenario 3. Tigres Ties, UNAM wins. UNAM jumps to #7, and Tigres sits #8. Gallos sits at #9, disqualified.

scenario 4. Tigres win. Pumas win. Tigres to 3rd, and Pumas to 8th. se llamaba para los #9 Gallos.

basically, if Puebla wins tomorrow, we will be fine. but if they tie against tigres, then the result of Xolos/Pumas matters.

scenario #5 is fun too. if Puebla manages to beat Tigres by 6-0, then Puebla would take #8 and gallos sit at seven. highly unlikely, but that would be great to see.

man I'd travel to Queretaro for a match vs those two power houses.

BTW.. I'm going to have to DVR this match because I'm headed to LA for the MLS Cup final. Along with about 5 Chivas/Dynamo fans. here's hoping I get to rub it in the whole way back to H-Town. :D

Petricevic himself said it in Capitanes:
    Article and video here.

In the video I hear from himself that he was offerred to him due to his bonds with AC Milan and Italian players, but that he doesn't want him simply cuz he's too old. He also mentions the Real Madrid match, that if happen, they would come with all their stars. Also said that neither Bueno or Zurita (president) will leave, and that he doesn't expect major changes for the next season.

game tied so far at halftime 0-0. Bueno a bit hotheaded, and hopefully Cardozo knows how to get him to do so.
