This has been the summer of awful PK across the game. If I'm a manager in a tournament, I'm making my players do extra PK practice.

But they can't score. Tired legs? Nerves?

If this goes to PKs, will Miedema take one?

USA struggling to get out of their half. Saying that Press just had a very good chance. Looking the more tired team.

Netherlands moving the ball well. Winning lots of corners.

I want to turn on the tv so badly but I don't want to jinx the Netherlands. LOL

I’m surprised Vlatko hasn’t been told to change or cover his shirt. Looks like a Netherlands player.

Big error from Netherlands. Lucky it was offside.

This it the first time I've seen fear in the US players. On to penalties now.

    Ugh.

The Netherlands had their chances. No crying.

Luckily for me, I have a dentist appointment. Lol. Ciao!

The very fact that it was dragged to PK shootout is a victory in itself for USA. On the pitch, Netherlands were better, now it can go either way. :(

Welp. It was fun while it lasted. Canada might have a shot, albeit a very small one.

Dutch out. They will probably regret that. Had the momentum for large spells after Morgan and Rapinoe came on. Still tough conditions seemed to drain everyone.

USWNT are like Rasputin. Can look really awful but stay alive.

I am so depressed. USA always find a way, even when they're not deserving.

And of all players, it's just Miedema, who had been fantastic all the evening, to miss the first one, to put things downhill.

I am not so sure it's watching the rest of the tournament: USA will luck their title out again... :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Just like the Dutch men, history repeats itself. Someone needed to channel Ronald Koeman and they couldn't Well played match by the Dutch who had the US on the ropes. Penalties were always dicey and it showed.

Sorry, but a bit busy/distracted the past couple of days or this would have come earlier. You need to understand the tone of the forum and tone down your commentary. IOW, this is not rivalries, this is discussion.
