http://www.maisfutebol.iol.pt/noticia.php?id=658414&div_id=1304 ahhh...good ole Quaresma...the boy is turning into a great Portista before our eyes
In an official statement made on Porto's Website he denied saying anything about Barcelona and Benfica. Says he was interviewed by "Sport" newspaper the day before he was to meet up with his NT teammates before the Saudi-Arabia game (more than 2 weeks ago and way before the Champions League drawing took place...) He went as far as saying that he wasn't asked anything about his ex-coach and the interview was strictly about the NT and his possibility about going to the WC. http://www.fcporto.pt/Info/Futebol/N...06_18 483.asp
Wow...the Portuguese press amazes me sometimes. I really get sick of hearing all the transfer rumours that appear out of thin air.
Hee you go Joelz>Credit goes to Andre For this article. I enjoy reading his Blogs. http://www.lusofootball.blogspot.com/
looks like atletico madrid are interested in signing Quaresma. http://www.goal.com/en-us/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=150779
Actually, I think it would be a Good move For Q. Also Costinha, Maniche, Ze castro play with Athletico so it would be a Good Fit For him. Do I see it happening? Only PDC knows.
Sure it is. But who knows what PDC might do. Any club will vouch For his services, So maybe PDC is playing Hard to Get. He would also Fit with Valencia.
Valenica has no room for Wingers, they have Joaquim and Vicente. Unless they would move him into some sort of central position... and that 3 million offer is incredibily low. Even 7 million I wouldn't accept.
Valid argument indeed. But we both know Quaresma would complain and bitch till the end of time unless he attained a regular starting spot. I could see him taking over Joaquim, as I think he is better then him, but not Vicente. Besides, the Spaniards would critize every move he did knowing they have one of their own just waiting in the background. Him going to Atletico Madrid would be an actually pretty good move for him. He would be joining Maniche, Costinha as well as Ze Castro. They also have a wonderful striker by the name of Torres. Atletico Madrid would only become stronger if they were to acquire Quaresma, but if they do want his services, they will need to offer a larger sum indeed.
