BUMMER. Can't go to the game because of other plans. Gave the tickets away to another boy in my son's team and his mom who promised to cheer and yell the whole game while I watch/scream/cheer at home. Go ESPN 2!

Seeing that I've got the game on over here on ESPN Int'l., I'd be more than happy to handle at least some of the PbP, and log it in for posterity's sake. :)

I say "at least some", because with kickoff happening at 7 a.m. on a Monday morning and Jen's alarm clock going off and her hitting the snooze button every ten minutes, I have to get her to work. The school she teaches at is only five minutes away, thank goodness, but I'll try and get her on the road at halftime.

In other words, I may need some help with the PbP at the start of the second half.

I am watching from home but do not have a laptop. I will run upstairs where the PC is in the second half if anything note worthy comes up. Go Quakes!

    Lineups...

    SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES
    It's what I predicted...

    GK: Onstad
    D's: Dunivant, Agoos, Cochrane, Waibel
    D-Mid: Corrales
    Wings: Russell & Mullan
    A-Mid: Donovan
    F's: DeRosario & Ching

    Bench:
    1 - Jon Conway (GK)
    24 - Steve Cronin (GK)
    11 - Arturo Alvarez
    13 - Jamil Walker
    15 - Roger Levesque
    19 - Troy Dayak
    21 - Tighe Dombrowski
    22 - Wes Hart
    23 - Chris Brown

    KANSAS CITY WIZARDS
Feel free to re-write this into a proper formation...

    25 - Bo Oshoniyi (GK)
    3 - Nick Garcia
    5 - Kerry Zavagnin
    6 - Jose Burciaga Jr.
    7 - Diego Gutierrez
    12 - Jimmy Conrad
    14 - Jack Jewsbury
    15 - Josh Wolff
    20 - Igor Simutenkov
    22 - Davy Arnaud
    23 - Alex Zotinca

    Substitutes
    30 - Will Hesmer (GK)
    4 - Shavar Thomas
    8 - Diego Walsh
    24 - Khari Stephenson
    26 - Taylor Graham

Quakes with a couple of quick chances in the opening minutes-- DeRosario heads wide, and Oshonyi steers Ching's shot 'round the post for a corner.

Quakes attacking from the get-go... good signs so far.

Lineup info obtained from the matchtracker at MLSnet.com

Josh Wolff said "that's ********ing horse ********", would that make mls games on a delay now too? Or do you think that'll not be a problem.

18th min. -- Donovan goes really close with a curling free kick from the top of the box, Oshonyi leaps to turn that one 'round the post.

I don't have a problem with that. Language like that is considered tame over here. ;)

Yeah, but this isn't australia. This is the country that banned rtuly live television because of the "boob" incident. It really wasn't anything.

24th min. -- KC free kick to Gutierrez (I think?) on a set play, shot goes over the top.

Heard our crazies in the North End chanting something very colourful right then and there, too. :D

27th min. -- Yet another corner to the Quakes goes begging, but only just... Waibel just oh-so-barely fails to connect with Agoos' corner from the right.

Thanks! Is there anyway I can watch the game online? I've heard it's possibly but I can't find how. The links on mlsnet.com don't see to work and we only get brief highlights of games once or twice a week in the UK. I need my fix of mls! ;)

Sometimes, it pays to have low ratings.

Just checking in. Quakes looking pretty dangerous right now. Anyone know what happened to Mulrooney?

All we know right now is "personal reasons", and nothing more defined beyond that.

Quakes definitely on top. Ching unlucky with a shot, blazed high.

38th min. -- DeRosario on a nice run to carry the ball into the box, but blazes his shot over Oshonyi's goal.

Mullan gets a yellow card, joins Agoos in the referee's book from earlier.

    You bloody ripper!!

Great run by DeRosario, and one hell of a touch to get it over Oshonyi's outstretched hand from the byline.

    1-0, Quakes.
