Only if LD is suspended like it seems 1/2 of BS is calling for.

But if not, start either Lagos or Walker up front, bring in Faria around 65 or 70.

Start Saunders instead of Conway; let's see what the kid can do.

On second thought, you're probably right. The Quakes are screwed.

What are you drinking? I want some!

I'd love to think this would happen. But I know it ain't gonna. And I'd still think we were screwed with Saunders. Simply cuz this ain't the game to give the boy a start.

    OMG! We're screwed! :(

Before he enters Mile High, grab Spencer, drop him in a three-foot long gunnysack, and tie it up. Hide him until the end of the game and then release him.

I'd rather see Spencer scoring against the Quakes than Carrieri :)

Oh no!!!!! Take that back! Darrieri is the assist man! You KNOW what's gonna happen! Spencer's gonna score on an assist from Darrieri. That's always how they work!

    Take that back Alexi!

    I need a beer really bad. :(

So, here is the SOLUTION !!!
Spencer is harmless when Carrieri is not on the field.

Do you read this, Craig? :)

Keep DeRo here and give Onstad a one way ticket. I'm sorry, but every time he tries to block a shot I feel like screaming TIMBER !!!! I honestly feel he may be the difference for us in winning the cup.

And you don't think that with Conway?

And does giving Saunders his first start in this game make you feel any better?

I'd much rather have Onstad. At least for this one.

I agree with this to a point. Some calamity in goal is going to cost the Quakes the Cup this year.

    I hope I'm wrong.

I haven't felt good about any of our keepers after Joe left. True, Onstad has made some good close range blocks but for some reason is struggling with anythging hit further than 10 yards. The idea of Conway minding the net against Colorado makes me nervous, so yes, I'd rather have Onstad home for this one. Let's just keep our fingers crossed.

We've cliched home field throughout the playoffs, this is a great time to get some minutes for backups.

I think team compensation for winning the supporters shield is half-off passes for Raging Waters.

haven't you people been paying attention this year?
haven't the Quakes continue to win through injuries and national team call ups?
don't you trust FY to bring back a W?
the West is the Quakes....that is established...this is a perfect time to give the ebnch some PT heading into the playoffs...

    jeez.....

We already clinched for home field right? That game will be meaningless.

As far as home field advantage is concerned, the game may be meaningless, but Frank and Dom want the guys to get the edge back that was lost on Sunday, and I would assume that means to go out there and give it the whole 110 yards. Of course, with the way this team is, the reason that they didn't perform too well was that they all knew that Frank's wife was due at any minute, and the suspense proved to be just too anxiety-provoking. :D

As long as we have our Canadians back for the games against the Galaxy, we can rebuild our playoff momentum then and still finish the season with a 50+ points statement.

Um...it's not a matter of not trusting Franky. It's a matter of not trusting Wrong Way.

And I could care less about the West. To me the most meaningful thing is that Shield. I want that damn shield. Why? Because that shows which team was the best this season. Not which team made through all the post "regular" season garbage of playoffs. The playoff system is garbage. Just garbage! The Shield shows which team was the best this season. And right now it's ours! I don't want to see it thrown away! I want that dang shield!

So the Earthquakes are determined to piss away the supporters shield. I couldn't care less about "winning the west"

Now wait a minute, no one's saying that. If DeRo and Pat get called up to Canada, Franky's gonna have to work with what he's got. The team can't exactly help that. We don't know what's going on in the Quakies' heads. But I really doubt that's what they're thinking.

After getting treated to that ridiculous apathetic display last Sunday against a very mediocre Metros at home and reading various comments in the papers I can only conclude that the shield is not a high priority. As for DeRo and Pat, do we really have to release every player for every little friendly? Last time DeRo left to play for Canada he didn't come back for a year after a breaking an ankle and then blowing a knee. Oh well I guess I'm just over reacting but to me the shield is really a bigger accomplishment than the Cup , I know that's heresy but that's how I feel.
