That goal was completely out of the blue, and we are extremely fortunate to have gotten it.

And an honest to goodness substitute played a part.

Ive liked Nash so far in his sub minutes. Provides a guy that our midfielders can play off of. The goal we scored tonight was an example of that.

I knew that once I mentioned nash, he'd do something just to prove me wrong. I'm glad he did. :)

A quality match. Both sides played well, though the Crapids were more defensive, also, pretty physical.

Nice play by Nash! I want to see more of him. This is the first game I've seen him play where he really showed something. And he gets an assist for the goal.

Pretty good play all around, but we need to finish our chances. Still, that's nine from nine!! Three wins in a row!! And a whole bunch of minutes with no goals allowed. :D

    GOGOGOGOGOGOGO QUAKES!!

Hair Canada to the rescue. Nice contribution before he's off to the Gold Cup. I doubt Canada will go too deep in it, playing a B team aside from Pwamme and a few others. Maybe Pwamme will make me eat my words.

Good luck to the Quakes this weekend.

Got home from the city just in time to catch Dwayne's goal (and believe me, I was driving about the same as Ally was earlier, doing about 85 km/hr in a 70 zone down the Nepean Highway)...

I had been thinking, "Well, at least it's some reward at home, and the sheet stays clean."

I'm now thinking, "It's a greater reward, we're in second spot, and yes, the sheet stays clean!" :D

Thank god... three points, the hard way. And doing anything it takes to win, too.

you know, sometimes a team like that isn't all bad. sure, it gives us heartache ... but I love the way these guys fight and play for each other. not all teams do that.
we could have something on our hands. :)

Quite excellent, under the circumstances, actually -- when you consider what kind of chances the team was given at the start of the season, and the fact that they were dropping points like crazy for the first several matches, too.
