    Hi all,

Club Quake is working on several projects to commemorate 30 years of professional soccer here in San Jose. We're keeping a couple things under wraps a bit longer, but we need some input from the faithful on one item:

We're thinking of ordering Quakes NASL replica jerseys from the manufacturer that supplied them for the reunion game in 2001. They are red jerseys with the familiar white and black stripes down the sides and a white v-neck collar. They will feature the Quakes NASL logo of the Q splitting the soccer ball.

I'd like to get a count from the faithful as to who might be interested. Most likely we will be limited to adult L and XL, but if there's enough interest, we may be able to get other sizes. I'm guessing the price will be around $40 each

Who's interested? How many? What sizes?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I'm in for one! I always loved those jerseys and it would be great to finally get one.

Put me down for 3, 2 - XL and 1 - XXL. If no XXL, only 2.

A great idea! Any chance they could be done in blue, as well, including the original NASL logo in blue? See my avatar.

Is a photo of the design available anywhere on the net?

If XXL happens this season, put me in for one, too. After all, I'm not getting any smaller...

I guess no one here wants "Earthquakes-opoly". :(

As for the replica NASL Earthquakes jerseys: are they the same ones that were sold in 2001? And will they use the normal pre-2003 Nike sizing (in which case mine would be an L) or the goofed-up/European Nike sizing of the past two years (in which case mine would be an XL)?

    GO EARTHQUAKES!!!

I'd stick with the jerseys--give everyone who missed out the first time a chance to get one--got a bit superstitious so I wore mine today. A second edition of the Quakes NASL kits would be nice. The oldschool Quakes will always be red--the modern edition is blue. However, I'm very keen on the bobbleheads so maybe Johnny Moore in the classice red threads? Cheers!

    OOOOOOOO.... YES YES YES!!!

I want one. Put me down for a large, but if you find out you can get smaller sizes let me know. And I guess it kinda depends on what the sizes are like, as Goodsie points out.

Thanks for the input... keep it coming. To answer a few questions:

1.) Yes these will come from the same company that did them in 2001 (not Nike). Sizing is pretty true, L is L, XL is XL, etc...

2.) We'll specifically look into sizes other than L and XL. Unfortunately, on short runs like this, the reality is the manufacturer may want us to commit to something like 50 larges, 50 xl's, 50 xxl's, etc.

3.) Although the blue ones would be cool, it's unlikely we'll be able to do them for the same reason as sizing above. Minimum order quantities are too high.

Hopefully, we'll have more info later this week...

We will get several if other sizes are offered. A men's M is huge enough for me, and some of us (including me) would look ridiculous in anything larger.

Forgot to include a size in my earlier post (but then, I thought you were only gauging interest...not necessarily taking orders.)

I would like one large, please, if you are placing an order.

With regard to payment, how would we be playing that? Thanks for presenting this!

Since I have the red one from 2001, I would put in an order for the blue if and when they become available.

We're planning to have them for the throwback weekend, rumored to be in late August.

I need 1 Large and 1 Extra-Large, and I'd pay double for the XL one that has Best with the number 11 printed on the back. :D

    Seriously. :D
