Heres's some of the sleeve soon. pic.twitter.com/hIgCPBezUr— San Jose Earthquakes (@SJEarthquakes) February 26, 2021 https://imgur.com/a/YYzZ2ue/
Well, they're definitely playing up the 2001 season, so seems like it will be a nod to that, which is cool.
Oh no, they're going to tie a "back in black" theme to the end of the pandemic next year. I can see it now. It'll be 2008 redux.
It is. I'm surprised no one else has reacted to it. Alanis comes across as a really down-to-earth guy who likes gardening and cooking, and is very humble and welcoming.
I like it better than any jersey I've seen for years, but a little red would have helped. I'm glad they got rid of the yellow.
it's been so long since the Quakes have won anything, or even been in the hunt really, they decided to do away with pretense.
The models are likely wearing the replica version, whereas the authentic version will no doubt also have the championship stars and the sleeve sponsor(s) included. In any case, I love it! , particularly if it'll be paired with black shorts and blue socks. It's without question the team's best primary jersey since 2016. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I agree. A bit smplistic for sure but doesn't have to mean it's automatically bad. To me, it looks very clean without any features that would distract like the yellow semi circle of the white.
Not bad. The black trim on the color and black framing the white sides makes it. The 2001 jersey had that also, whereas the 2005 did not. It was just blue and then all kinds of weird oddly shaped white crap around the sides with no black borders.
As a Dortmund fan, this jersey looks disgusting because it looks just like a Schalke one...but as a Quakes fan, I actually think it is one of the better ones of this decade.
