It was Vine on his return Then nearly gets a second Sorry - hard to keep up with the good news tonight
I looked at the schedule earlier and realized that NONE of the Top 10 play each other today and everyone in the Top 10 except Newcastle and PNE is at home, so there was a decent chance that most of the ones above us would hold serve. Fixtures for 3rd-10th: Cardiff (3rd, 20 points) v. Coventry (15, 16) Boro (4, 20) v. Derby Blackpool (5, 19) v. Sheff U (11, 17) Sheff Wed (13, 16) v. Preston (6, 19) Forest (7, 19) v. Barnsley Leicester (8, 18) v. Palace (14, 16) Bristol City (9, 18) v. Plymouth QPR (10, 17) v. Reading
Taarabt comes off to a very nice ovation Pat Agyemang comes on ... and they get the ball to him instantly and he nearly scores. I think you and I could have a decent chance at a goal tonight
Previous R's subs were Vine for Simpson in the 53rd and Mahon for Buzsaky in the 66th. Reading has made one sub.
Full Time's trickling in... Cardiff City 2 - 0 Coventry City Leicester City 2 - 0 Crystal Palace Bristol City 3 - 1 Plymouth Argyle Scunthorpe 2 - 1 Newcastle (!)
Last time they've seen anything like this at Loftus Road... English Division 1 (old) QPR 4-0 Man City 07-03-1992 English Division 1 (old) QPR 4-1 Leeds 11-03-1992 Les Ferdinand hat-tricks in both, I believe. And he's in attendance tonight! I'm loving this! Full-time, 4-1 winners.
Great stuff from the R's! Our goal difference is now +10... fourth in the league behind Cardiff (+14), WBA (+11), and Newcastle (+11). We're still in 10th. With 3rd-10th winning today there wasn't much movement at the top of the table, but it's starting to help the top half get a little more distance from the bottom half.
If we don't get some relief, it'll be a two-match ban for Watson. http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1832282,00.html
