The Daily Mirror says that Plymouth is paying £750,000 for Simon Walton. The Mirror also has some quotes from Briatore about Parejo and about getting players from other big European clubs.
Simon Walton has been sold to Plymouth Argyle for a "Club record undisclosed fee." We paid £200,000 for him last July, he spent most of the season injured, made 1 start and 5 sub appearances for us and 5 starts and 5 sub appearances for Hull, and we're likely making a profit on him? Wow. Good luck to Simon. He seemed a good player whose injury didn't allow him to prove he could be part of the new regime.
Joining Simon Walton at Plymouth will be Chris Barker. Barker has been transferred to the Pilgrims and has signed a three-year deal. Our offish doesn't mention a fee; theirs says it's an undisclosed fee. The deal was completed in time for Barker to be available for Plymouth against Wolves today.

Wow...didn't expect this. Looks like the midfield situation just got a little more complicated. By my count we have between 7-9 guys that could start in the midfield. And in other news...this again: http://sport.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Football/2008/09/12/SerieAChampionship-Del-Piero-on-future/
